Try a water pistol on him. It's worked for us.

Forced submission is fine as long as your girlfriend is going to enforce her dominance all the time. Doing it "part time" won't work.

Never had a dog go on the floor more than 3 or 4 times until they got it.

They have to be your life when you get them.

I don't own one now because I don't have the time, and I used the last one as shark bait (j/k)

If you can't take off two weeks to train the puppy right from the start well then I just wouldn't get one. However most people don't think like that.

Everyone here has the same basic advise.

Be consistant, show him you and your girlfriend are the alpha male/female and if you can't do that get him to training school.
