Ancient Alien Theory
-this intelligent life developed VERY NEAR us, not just somewhere billions of light years away
-they pointed their handy telescopes at us, and noticed us
-they cared enough to come check us out
-they had light speed capability (or close to it) at the time
oh and finally
-they do all of their visiting in almost total secrecy
Buying into even one of those assumptions is a stretch...all of them...?
Oh, sorry, one more thing. You can toss all those above and instead assume that everything we know or have theorized about space and time is complete bullshit. I don't buy in on that assumption either, personally.

Just sayin. Though, I'm not denying your points in the least bit.

Just sayinPhysics on a quantum level does NOT carry all the way up to the level of a tennis ball.

, I'm just saying it's highly unlikely that FTL transportation for human-sized beings exists in usable form... even in a theoretically advanced alien race.
Just because similar motifs and archetypes pop up among civilizations (some of which have never made contact with others) doesn't make them all genuine. The one unifying thing about our species is the brain and it's ability to play tricks on us, make us feel "spiritual", and attach emotions like love and fear to various events. It's the brain, stupid. The same goes for religion. You have cultural groups that have never made contact with the outside world yet they share many of the same beliefs and ideas and images that can be seen among cultures on the other side of the world. The only thing genuine is the mind's ability to conjure up abstract conceptions which we then stamp into our lives; it should come as no surprise that the nervous system of Homo sapiens conjures up similar images to all those who possess one.
My understanding is that what you're talking about is entirely theoretical and/or only applicable at extremely small scales; am I correct in that? I'm certainly not suggesting that faster than light travel is impossible, especially not after the faster than light neutrino

The link I had in my e-mail, no longer works
All I can find is standard gravity probe-b findings which affirms all 3 of Einsteins theories (which his branch theories are based off of obviously). I will find another source, I'm just wondering why this one is gone. It was a youtube from a NASA conference on like May 5/6
(I'm 99% Sure it might be in this conference, but I don't have the 50 minutes right now to thoroughly check)

Well apparently, there is a lot of recorded visits by our ancient civiliaztions, that what this is all about. Due to their limited technology of heiroglyphs and word of mouth, the truth gets muddled through history.
