So, question to the Daytona owners and enthusiasts here.....

What is the list price on both the white face and black face, what is the street price, and what is considered a "gotta buy it" price?

I'm gonna head down to the watch dealer in the next couple of days to see what they can offer me.

Not bad , but I have been going to the USGP at Indy for a few years now. The first year of the event my wife secured VIP passes , since she has a connection there. I went to the can and this guy and his bodyguards walked in behind me. As he walked in he banged his watch on the door jam hard, the clank caught my attention After I wizzed and as I washed my hands he began to wash his hands. I noticed he was sporting a Patek Philippe Celestial Sky-Moon , this is about $180,000 . I told him nice watch, I was wearing my SS Daytona Zenith movement . He told me nice watch too. I told him compared to his watch mine was a POS. He laughed and as we walked out he had a couple of blondes waiting for him. don't think he was famous but he was a baller. I told him it must be good to be the king, he just smirked and walked away.

 

So, I was quoted $9920 for the white face Daytona, and $10880 for the black face Daytona. No discounts off those prices were available, despite my good relationship with that particular dealer. They told me that it was because of the good relationship that they could get me Daytona's any time I wanted them, while everyone else had to be on a waiting list. Amazing, hehe. At those prices, it becomes a tough decision between an AP Royal Oak Chronograph and the Daytona..... Awww, heck, maybe just get them both.

THis is not normal. You got the watch for a STEAL!!! (assuming you got the papers, you underpaid about 5 grand USD)

i have right now a Raymond weil parsifal, i have a tag heur thats like 6 years old and i also have a couple beaters but i will have this soon!!!!
