Good on you brotha for being there for her and being such a strong person. Doctors are wrong all the time, and there is plenty of chance for her to kick this shit to the curb. Stay positive, think positive, and the rest will come. All the best, and stay strong!

Alright well tonight is a going to be a big night.

She told me this morning that the doctor moved her appointment from 4pm to 11am and that it was urgent. I talked to her until the doctor came in and she let me go.

She called me 30 minutes later and told me what was up. The doctors want to have surgery tonight at 9pm to remove the small tumor in her brain as a precautionary measure incase it gets any worse. The problem with this, is the surgery is a 50/50 chance of survival they said... They are also going to remove her kidney that failed after her last surgery.

Needless to say, I called into work and have been talking to her all day, and I will up until she leaves for surgery. If all goes well the doctors said she will finally be released next week, which is my birthday. The week after that is hers, and the third week is her company's formal which I am attending. We have so much planned, and I know she will be strong and beat this.

 

I'll keep my finger's crossed that she comes out well from the operation.

 

I know of someone who survived a surgery that had a 2-5% chance of survival. I'm staying positive. You're helping her more than you know. Keep it up.

 

Thanks guys. Yeah I am staying positive as well! I just got off the phone with her less than a minute ago and I told her not to be scared and that I will talk to her when shes done. Her surgery is at 9 and will probably take a while. I will try to post an update when she gets out.

Shes out of surgery and on the phone with me

Shes still super groggy which is cracking me up. Its great to hear her voice again

I just laughed softly out of happiness and she said "What are you laughing at?" in a soft, drugged voice... lol. I think she just fell asleep on me now.

I don't know the results of the surgery, but she came out on the better end of the 50/50!

She should be released next week and we can do all the things we talked about. I will update some more once I know what the doctors say about how the surgery went, but right now, I'm just thankful to have her on the phone
