But were they thin when they were your age. Metabolism normally slows as you get older or more sedentary (office job).
95% correct. What I mean is, 95% of the time, that is the case...it is fastest when you are young, and slows down. The other 5% (least common) is the opposite (what I have).....started slow, and will speed up...sometimes, so much that you can no longer control it at your old age.

is diet really 90 percent? Ive maintained (for the most part) my weight with little excercise and no real healthy manner of eating (but I never eat McDonalds or Burger King, etc.) Im carb queen. Are you sure that if I just start working out like crazy and continuing my normal food intake (minus coke) I won't loose weight? 10 percent isnt much.
Yes, I believe diet is 90%.

If you want a good nutrition regimen, you can take a look at www.sixpacknow.com. They have great information, but don't go into great detail.

I usually get around 7-8 tiny meals per day, each consisting of about 2-300 calories, eating every 2 hours. Of course you will need to adjust accordingly to your body.

I hear a lot of people say carbs are bad, and stay away from them. Just make sure to consume the complex carbs, and try to stay away from simple carbs like coke, desserts, etc...... The only time you would want to consume simple carbs, is post workout to restore muscle glycogen. I wont go into anymore detail regarding glycogen, since there is so much info about it.

If any of you need advice on nutrition, or have any Q's regarding nutrition, please feel free to PM me.

I used to take supplements, but for building.

I've taken creatine monohydrate, whey protein, amino acids, chomium picolinate.

creatine plus chromium picolinate works real well.

cell-tech and nitro-tech were great products back then.

Cell-Tech and Nitro Tech are nothing more than 75g of dextrose per serving, giving you a sugar high, thus, making you feel like you have a ton of energy. Pure marketing BS. However, creatine is good, if you know what to do with it.

Dude, I agree with both of your comments. I will add that you need 20-25% of fat as well in your diet. Lets not forget the minerals and vitamins as well, do not over do the protein because that will just be wasted in the body.

1-6 hrs before work out eat some carbs, after workout eat some protein. The bigger the muscles the more glucose they need, the more glucogen is converted to burn......................................

Finally, never make yourself hungry. The natural way is the best way!

I always used regular creatine with apple juice during the loading, and used the cell tech as a post workout recovery. The idea with dextrose is for quicker absorption, not just to give you a sugar high.

I had the nastiest farts when I took cell tech.
