get a couple empty cans(soup, not soda), tie a string to them, put them towards the back of the fridge, tape the loose end of the string(other end tied to the cans) to the bottom of the can of soda that is yours. When you hear the clank, you know you got your mouse.

at one of my last companies, a dude had a webcam in his office that he set to activate on motion. He caught someone on the janitorial staff snooping around and taking stuff from his office... it was great.

oooh... here's another good one to go along with the others that were mentioned.....

do they still sell those bottles of stuff in packs with plastic rings? Can you still slip one in and out of there?
if so.. jsut leave a full six-pack in there, and keep rotating in/out which one is good/bad.

you know this stuff is not expensive:

we have an office peep that is excessive/compulsive on little things.

saw him writing his name on a can of soda. we wrote his name on EVERY can like that and got to enjoy his displaced aggression of an un knowing co worker.

we never said anything tho.

I have a small zip-top cooler that holds 3 cans of soda with a freezer pack. I bring my 3 sodas to work every day, and they'll stay cold for 12 hours easy. Nobody ever gets my soda! It's also fun watching the other Diet Coke addicts salivate because I have mine after the machine has run out.
I swear the idiots who stock the machines must figure out what the most popular drinks are and then not restock them. There's a whole shelf of Dr. Pepper that's never been touched.

You drink three sodas a day?!?! Holy schnikeys. That's insane.

My doctor told me that there isn't a single commonly available "food" that is more dangerous (per ounce/pound) to your body than soda. I stopped drinking them about four years ago (at the ripe age of 22).

Really? I'd be interested in seeing the actual research behind that.

I didn't drink soda much at all (maybe once a week) until I came to the US 16 years ago. Then it somehow became my drink of choice, although I still drink at least 80 fl oz of water a day too.

If soda's really that bad for me, I'd switch over to x-s energy drinks instead. I like something carbonated with my meals. Diet Coke is just a habit at this point. And cheap, at 5 cases for $10.

One of my co-workers was drinking a soda at an 11am meeting recently, and I asked her how many she'd had so far that day. It was number 5 for the day. She gets out of bed and drinks a soda before she even gets dressed

Wow. That's amazing. I'll see if perhaps I can find some research for you, but look at it this way. Anything that can dissolve a steak overnight probably isn't that good for your body.
