Oh, how about when the Comic Book Guy has a heart attack and calls it:

"Worst cardiac episode ever."

geez.... I'm living in a house of 44 people(similar to a dorm), and our room(I live with two other guys) is the only room that gets reception on the TV, so everynight, comes simpsons time, everyone crouds into our room. favorite quote, from the episode where homer becomes a truck driver... "Mmmmmmm, sinus' full of beef..."

"Mmmmm... VTEC..." "Homer! Put that camshaft down!" "DOHC!!!"

The episode where Mr. Burns hires pro baseball players to be on his softball team is the best.

Bart and I think Ralph are choosing team mates:

Bart: "I'll take Milhouse"
...Wade Boggs walks by...
Ralph: "I'll take Wade Boggs"
Wade Boggs: "You got yourself a player"

by the end of the picks Ralph has all pro's on his team.

Hahahahahaha!

The episode where Homer is about to buy a gun.

Homer to Lisa: How would you like it if the King of England came in here and started pushing you around huh? Would you like that? (shove) Huh? (shove) Huh?

Another great episode. Yeah i admit the Simpsons did have their slow episodes which were in my opinion quite dull. However a good majority of the episodes do have me laughing a good majority of the time.

Also how about the quotes on Sundays when Bart write on the blackboard at the Springfield elementary school. I think the best quote i have ever seen was when Bart wrote, " I will not scare the Vice-President"

Yes... In syndication. 1961-73 is before my time. Haven't watched it since the youthful veil of blissful ignorance was lifted. Was Rocky & Bullwinkle also full of witty social commentary? If so, I didn't notice at all.

"Hi Supernintendo Chalmers!" - Ralph Wiggum, introduced to Superintendent Chalmers while using educational software to spell the word "kat".

There was a scene were the family had put their house on the market and people were coming to look at the house.

<knock on front door. Apu outside>

Homer: Yes
Apu: Hi. I would like to come in and use your restrooms, read your books and magazines and maybe eat some of your food
<pause>

<Apu Angry>
Apu: Ha! How do you like!

<Apu running away>
