Best movie car chase
Ronin. No speeding up of the film, no fake stuff.
Don't like the Bullitt chase scene - it was sped up so much that the leaves on the trees pratically vibrate, rather than gently blow in the wind.

I have to agree with gomarlins3. I didn't see my favorite listed, either. Everyone's forgetting about the BEST chase in the history of cinema....Popeye Doyle in "The French Connection." C'mon people, this was far better than even the one in Bullitt, because:
-it is REAL (no CG back then)
-it is LONG (you feel exhausted when it's over...)
-Doyle is going 80 mph on actual NYC streets WITH traffic
-that movie was the basis for every seedy, gritty cop film or show ever made. (It came out in 1971, and won Oscars for best picture, director, adapted screenplay, editing, and a best actor for Gene Hackman)
Which of the films listed in the poll can boast of these achievements? Just chiming in on behalf of a piece of cinema that cannot be forgotten in this context. I very highly recommend you go and see this if you haven't already. Although, my favorite from the list is definitely "Ronin." No music, plus F1 drivers drifting, plus an Audi S8, plus very narrow streets = awesome cinema! It's definitely harder to orchestrate a chase in real life, than it is to whip it up on a computer.

And my brother got to wreck a chevy in it, too.
