Best shows in Vegas?
I just noticed the "Where to buy tix" on your subject header. For the less popular shows you can always go to the discount ticket booths that litter the strip as someone mentioned before. There is one at the Fashion Show Mall plaza and at the other non-resort commercial plots along the strip.
But if you want to make sure you have tickets to a popular show (especially if you are headed to Vegas on a weekend or near a holiday) book ahead of time online. You can book most tickets online through Vegas.com. They don't discount, but it is hard to find discounts on the shows that sell out nightly.

"O" was sold out in the front row when we planned our trip 4 months ahead of time (for june), so if you wanna catch that it might be too late now
It is a water-based show and the performers are constantly diving into the water to exit the stage. It is pretty cool as they disappear into the water and out hidden exit tunnels.Just an FYI.

I have seen MANY shows. For me, nothing compares to "O". Avenue Q is hilarious, but its a broadway. If you want a show in Vegas that will blow you away, O or Mystere will do that.

da#n. O is sold out and there r only $hitty seats left for mystere while i'm there..

The arena for "O" is built really well and while some seats are not as good as others, there are not too many terrible seats. I sat in the center but 3/4 of the way back in the level just below what I would call the balcony and the seats were excellent. I think they called where I was sitting the balcony and there is one level above it with about 5 rows of seats all the way around, they are up high but not that much farther from the stage and they have good sightlines.
If you can get in the door it is a truly memorable show. Mystere is also very good but a notch below IMHO. They both have great visuals and fantastic acrobatics, but watching the water based show with a giant pool/stage that one minute is a deep pool the next minute is solid ground is really cool. The stage itself is a big part of the show.
Have fun.
