Jesus! This happened at the U-District? So is this the same incident as the one on this film?

<---- What the hell does that say? U-District (or Village, same $hit!).

I vaguely recall this story a few years ago, and I don't think it's the same one as the film.

There is always the chance that it is the same incident, but that the video is inadmissable in court...for a number of reasons.
I'd still kick his ass.

EDIT: The article states nothing about "repeatedly bashing" Andrews' head. I think that may be the key to the low sentence and/or these cases being unrelated.

This has actually already been covered on this board a few months back. THe article and the video are two seperate incidents. The guy in the video didn't die. However a similar incident happened in Seattle, where the guy did die from one blow to the head with the "truck" of the skateboard.

Doesn't make me any less mad about the vid...just thought I'd clear some stuff up.

One more reason why it should be legal to carry and conceal everywhere. One shot to the head would've stopped that skaterat.

I was under the assumption that the video and the news page were of the same incident. In the video, he repeatedly bashed the guy in the head, thus, my comment.

The kid in the video should be shot.

I wish they would allow corporal punishment in the US still. For something like this, the kid ought to be lashed and put up in federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison for a term. I can't believe that he would repeatedly hit someone that viciously with a damn skateboard. I wish i could go to town on his ass with my hockey stick. Maybe if he feels how it is to have the piss beaten out of him, he'll be sorry. Then put him up so some lifer can make his arrogant ass into servile putty.

Disgusting. Period. What are we, as a society, when we will idly stand by and let someone, even a friend, commit such viciousness. I would tackle my friend after the first hit. Actually, no one I'd ever call a friend would be dumb enough to get in this situation. This is why people hate skateboarders...because a lot of them are just asshole punks.
