Oh sorry one more thing, the last guitar I had professionaly finished cost me alot more the 450 CDN, how'd you do it?
I had a Coco Bolo wood top tinted in blue.

 

That is beautiful. $2-300 eh? Think you guys could give me a crash course on guitar painting/finishing? What exactly does it involve? Will the paints and things I'll need be readily available? Are they expensive? I figure if I mess it up horribly, I can keep doing it over and over again until I get it right Plus I can point to it and tell people, "I did that myself."

This friend of a friend wants to sell it for $300 (negotiable) with a hard case. I think he's having trouble selling it because of the color. I've seen the same guitar in different colors on ebay selling for more with the original pickups, so I think I'd be better off buying his and painting it than just looking for something comperable in a color I like.
