Best line ever given to me by a sales person. "How about you come back when you can actually afford the car." (this was on a used S2K I was looking at)

The a-hole didn't know that I had $6k cash on me for a down payment.
Back in 2001 a friend wanted to buy the new M3 so we went to a BMW dealership looking for it. Salesman said no M3 because there were a waiting list. He said they have a M5 in stock but told my friend he probably can't afford it and suggested that we (my friend, his two cousins, and me) could combine all our money so we can afford to buy a brand new M5.

I was at the Honda dealership when I wanted my S2000 2 years ago (19 yrs old at the time, but i was definitely a mature 19 yr old). Well I'm looking at an AP1 and the salesman said I could look at the car, but I couldn't drive it since it rained EARLIER in the day and the "roads were slick". NOT. Anyways I left and came back a week later and my pops and I went to another salesman who let me drive another AP1, then a brand new AP2, and I leased my AP2 that same day. My dad also got an accord that day as well.

A week later I take my dads car in to get a spoiler and that other salesman sees me and says, "Oh so you went and got an accord?" to which I replied, "No, thats my dads. I got an 05 S2000" and just walked away. He didn't have anything to say after that, that SOB!!

I understand that they usually don't give the keys to an S2000 to a teenager, but the guy was an ass the way he brought it up. Just thought I would share.
