This might seem amusing for you to torment the animals, but it's not really going to solve your problem. Dumping a bucket of water on a cat on your hood is a good way to guarantee scratches all over your car when it scrambles to run away.

It's not about tormenting animals, it's about animals tormenting me. And it WILL solve my problem when they start figuring out that every time they come around my yard and driveway they get sprayed with water. It's not like this is one or two cats. I typically see a new cat on my property everyday plus the regular bunch. Don't get me wrong, I love cats. Just not my neighbors cats.
