No way. Not without compensation.

It's 40x30 - just big enough for my media room above it. I'm installing my cabinetry today, as well as putting the rug on the wall to cover the window (already stapled acoustic foam in the casing). I should get the baseboards installed this week too. The window was required by building code, but big brother can't make me keep it! There's a 92" screen that lowers when I power up the projector.

I'm celebrating hitting 50 by unloading some retirement money. Believe it or not, cats were one of the reasons why this whole thing happened.

Thanks kitties!
Media room above garage? No, that's a man cave. Nice.

You need a fireman's pole going down into the garage. Or a slide

What I really needed was cabinetry, and I finally have all of that completed and installed. I also mounted the rug (which covers the window). Now I can start working on the moulding - need a couple custom wall plates too. I have 14 diffusers to paint and mount on the wall along with the absoptive acoustic treatments.

We joked about building a slide from the window in the stairway to a pool, but I really don't want the hassles of a pool.

Inching closer - yeah, it's a man cave alright, and every man should have one!

Citronella (Orange juice)

I know it pisses of dogs, I'm pretty sure cats don't like it either.

It was a bit of a PITA, but moth balls work too. I loaded up 6 bags that I'd deposit around my car and the cats stopped getting near it - until they discovered I stopped putting down the moth balls. We used to have a cat - he stayed in the house. I wish my neighbors would keep their cats in the house. I'm not worried about my cars anymore though.
