Canada has the worst voice and data rates in the world. (That may even be 100% true, though I haven't researched every single region)

Monthly I pay anywhere from $160-300. I'm tired of it.
I was thinking, Too bad there's no price war here. You know it's bad when it's a better deal for me to use my US phone up here and cancel my Canadian service.

On a national level, only AT&T, Verizon and perhaps T-Mobile will survive. (I'm hopeful for T-Mobile - and biased too). In the end, only 2 or 3 wireless carriers will exist and I think that'll be better for the customers in the end.
IF Sprint can get their WiMAX program off the ground and beat their competitors, I think they will do pretty well with it.

If not, they are toast, and they'll bring at least part of my employer with them. (though not my part )

Yeah honestly!

I made a BIG boo-boo a few weeks ago when I was in the Dominican...after a few drinks I engaged in telephone conversations with 4 different people in various provinces for total talk time of roughly 1.5 hours. I am scared to see this bill but the charges seem to be delayed a month or two while they get them back up here.

Ouch, you said you're on Rogers? That's going to cost you.

I used to travel a lot and needed to use Rogers as well. Once my co-worker was gone for a couple weeks and was getting constant phone calls about a couple deals he was working on, his phone bill came in at $4000!
