chick-fil-a
We paid $17 for three people (one a kid) the other day and I only got some nuggets (no drink or fries). That's retarded.
Good food but way overpriced. That said, as others have mentioned, the people there are generally bright (compared to someone at, say, Taco Bell), quick to please, polite, and they can actually do math in their head. They also have very quick service.

Ive lived on both coasts. Its definitely worse on the east.
I do love Chick Fil A. When I go home, that is one of the first places I go since we don't have them out here. I understand they have a very tough interview process, and hold their standards very high, and it shows in the way their employees act. I really love the way they treat you when you are a customer there.

I agree that the service is generally better on the West Coast though.

You know what REALLY, REALLY pisses me off about Chick-fil-A??
Why is the Grilled Chicken Sandwich some processed piece of chicken??
I mean, for LESS money, you can get the deep fried "original" chicken sandwich...but for MORE money (and a healthier option) you get some nasty piece of chicken on a bun.
It's gross. Yet I always order the damn thing because, 1. I'm trying to eat healthier... and 2. I hate that taste of the peanut oil they use on the fried chicken sandwiches... and 3. Because it's quick, easy and the folks are typically quite friendly.
I like that the original owner, Cathy Truitt, is a devout Southern Baptist man and I love seeing their stores CLOSED on Sundays...it's great that a fast food restaurant has some values.
I love it that every response of an employee is "My Pleasure" versus "You're Welcome." I really feel like a GUEST in their restaurants. And when I pay with my debit card, they call me BY NAME. Can you believe that?? The ONLY other place I get that is at Nordstrom and I have never spent $7 at Nordstrom.

I'm with the grilled chicken sucking vs the regular. I'd much rather have it grilled if it wasnt processed.
