Default which company has the cheapest auto insurance rate in CA?

just as title states, which ones are relatively cheaper compared to AAA or whatevers people usually hold for its good services? i got 3 points so far so insurance could kill me. i dont care if it has a good reputation or not but i can go down to any low tiers as far as i could end up paying less than 2K. any phone numbers or websites regarding this would be greatly appreciated. thx in advance.

Look into Mercury. They quote fairly low.

if you have a good driving record, Wawanesa is great.

I pay about $1100/yr for both of my cars, a CRX and my S2000, assuming 10K mi/yr on the CRX, and 15K mi/yr on the S2k. oh yeah, my Comp is $100 deductable, and Collision is $300, and I think I maxed out the liability coverages. I'm 30.

Wawanesa is a GREAT deal, but they won't sign you up if you have a bad driving record.

Wawanesa, huh? Sounds like something out of the state.... no online quote, like AAA. You guys with Wawanesa, have you ever had to make a claim with them? Or do you know of any horror stories from anyone that has?
