Computer guru's, a little help please
check for cordless phones in the area. or other devices that may interfere. i have awireless network in my house and never lose connectivity on any of my 3 machines, all with the same linksys router and cards. i can even connect to my to my neighbors linksys, and hold that connection no problem and that is over some distance, it only reads about 20%, but it stays connected.
Problems like this are better diagnosed in person... if you were in the Bay Area, I would probably come out and do this one thing free of charge for ya as the problem is usually something trivial or overlooked... sorry

Try disabling "Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network"
I know that some of my clients that use Netgear wireless routers have had the constant dropped connection problems, and the above did well in alleviating the problem.

I thought the install with my wrt54gs super duper highspeed router was going to be a breeze, but instead it took 4 hours and a Linksys tech to help me! Their help page is actually pretty good, just find your router model.
