Wrong

My ancestors fought for the right for all of us to be free, protected, and to travel about without restrictions and burdensome laws. The only way to ever protect those rights is the rights of the citizens to overthrow the government in the event it loses touch with the people. The only way you could ever overthrow a government is to be armed and capable of doing so. NEVER forget that the Germans, long before they started putting people in prison camps, started rounding up all the guns.. House to house searches, with no legal protections to stop them, they made sure that prior to "cleansing" they had to disarm the very people they planned to eliminate. That is how it starts, and NEVER let anyone tell you different. The pansy liberals that tout gun control don't have a friggen clue as to the importance of a people able to bare arms and protect life and property.

Example: IF tomorrow guns were illegal, not a few, ALL GUNS.. think about this for a minute.......................... would your life be safer?????

NO... why you ask??? okay I'll break it down for ya. ARE DRUGS LEGAL??? NO, and did making certain drugs illegal stop drugs from coming into this country? NO, did it stop people from doing drugs... NO.. so if they make guns illegal who do you thing will own them????? Guesses anyone... Yes Robbie, you are correct... THE THUGS, CRIMINALS, DRUG DEALERS.. all those fcuks that mean to harm you and your family....

Okay, I will step off my soap box...
Very well said. I keep my Glock 23 40 Cal. in a slip soft case between my seat and the center console(handle up to grab quickly). Best place to get at if I need it quickly if need be.

I think the location you are speaking of is where i previously stored mine. However with State Law if a passenger is in my vehicle that does not have a Concealed Weapon Permit, it is illegal to store my pistol there as it is within his reach.

If i'm not mistaken... Packing.org has a list of all States and their Gun-Laws, as well as which States honor their permits.

I also have a concealed pistol permit. I have a little Kel-Tec .32 cal. that I carry everywhere I go. It is pretty small and will fit right in the concole with no problem.

This is not an anti-gun statement: I truly pity you. I believe you can only truly be free when you don't need a gun.

Man, it must be strange thinking that you need a gun with you to be safe. I'm not really pro or anti gun, but I'm just glad we have little gun crime over here.

Since many have added their view on carrying firearms, I might as well put in my 2 cents.

A father, mother, and their 12 year old daughter were eating lunch at KFC. Time was about 1pm, broad daylight. As they walked to their car in the parking lot, out of the bushes from 3 car spaces over came a very large male. He had a brick in his hand and started to beat the father in the head with a brick. The mother tried to get him off of her husband, so he hit her with the brick. The husband was on the ground with his head and face traumatized and was able to do nothing but bleed and moan. The daughter pleaded with the man not to kill her daddy. So he hit her with the brick. Then the man took the mothers purse and ran. This REAL / TRUE scenario occurred in less than 2 minutes and happened about 1 year ago in Miami.

The "man' was a "CRACK MONSTER" who simply wanted the $40 from the mother's purse that he saw her put in her purse while inside KFC. For about 2 weeks following this attack, the CRACK MONSTER repeated his tactics on other innocent victims before he was apprehended.

So what happened to that devastated family you ask? Well, the father is still partially paralyzed and can never have a normal life again, the mother has permanent scars, the daughter virtually lost her father who happened to be a grade school teacher; the sole provider for the family.

Had the father been properly trained in small arms and carrying at the time, he would likely have been able to change the outcome of events and have the ability to talk about it today. Sadly, he has lost the ability to speak, thanks to the CRACK MONSTER.

As for me, not only do I carry one of the finest handguns in the world today (GLOCK), but I feed it CORBON +P+ (aka: "proven stopping power"). Combined with my 15 years of military service (special operations) and law enforcement training (deputy sheriff), I , NOR MY FAMILY, WILL NOT BE A VICTIM OF A CRACK MONSTER!!

"Rather be judged by 12 of my peers as opposed to being victimized by 1"

Afterthought for fellow LAW ABIDING CWP / S2000 brethren. Sig is great, but a wet gun that requires regular maintenance. However, the best handgun for the individual is one that is most comfortable for that person and meets his/her needs.
