I second B&H. I've been doing business with them for nearly 10 years. Their prices are not the absolute cheapest, but if they list an item as 'in stock', then it *IS* in stock. Outstanding customer service.

I just received my digital camera today that I ordered on-line from ibuydigital.com along with a 128 compact flash, high speed card and flash card reader. First digital camera for me. After a couple of months of studying what is out there and determining what features I needed I finally decided on a Canon S30. I almost got a Canon S45 but after reading this great post I figured I might want to upgrade to a better lens camera after I used this one a while.
I too had to call in to confirm my address but there was no pressure to buy accessories - I guess because I already ordered some. Shipping was reasonable, less than $20, and had five day delivery.
Started taking pics today.
