Dude it's really not that hard. Right now you just need to focus on YOU. Just enjoy things YOU enjoy doing.

In the situation you are in right now you don't really wanna be out there looking for anyone right now. Especially if you get to talking to a chick and she hears that you just got out of a 6 year relationship such a short time ago, that can be a huge deal breaker.

Shit man just like everyone else has been saying look around at school, malls are a sweet place to pick up chicks. And again as other people have said, there are decent people in bars, theyre usually just harder to find there. I've found plenty of 'quality' chicks in bars, you just have to know what to look for.

Shit like myspace and facebook aren't all bad. That kinda things helps people like me out who are in the military and move around a lot. Most of the time the ladies come to me, you just gotta be really confident, but not cocky.

-indulge in every opportunity for anything that comes your way

the only thing that will fix you is time. everything is else is just distractions from the pain;
the key is distracting yourself with productive things that will yield healthy benefits.
