3rd choice: Negra Modelo (Mexican beer at it's finest)
Modelo is a good brew. Most if not all of the Mexican breweries were actually started by German immigrants, and the beers are German lager recipes. Even Corona would probably be a decent light lager if they would put it in brown bottles instead of the clear ones. Instead it tastes like skunk piss. Never had it on tap.

Mexicans won't even drink Corona so take that for what it's worth.

I like Pacifico myself. Perfect barbeque beer.

The undisputed dopplebock king!

Very hard to find in person. In LA I find it at Crown City Brewery in Pasadena and in Portland, OR at Gustavs by Clackamas Town Center. Other than that I have to buy it online.

Do a websearch on it and you will see the praise it has earned...

TH: Try Hollingshead Deli in Orange - Main & Culver.

Kenny has between 200 and 300 varieties of beer. If he doesn't stock it you might get him to start.

My two favourites would have to be Delirium and X.O., but it's like picking which of my children I love best. LOL
Both are fairly hard to find.

has anyone ever tried Old Peculier? I don't remember how much I liked it... I don't remember disliking it... but I think it wasn't bad. I just don't remember, and I'm not sure why.
