Hoonda, why don't you try sneaking her a letter, poem or a drawing by you to express your feelings for her. You don't have to sign it as you can keep her curious for a while as to who it maybe. Atleast till you get the courage to ask her out. Until then treat her extra special by holding doors for her or asking her if she would like something to drink whenever she comes over. She will start to notice that you have an eye for her. No alcohol though.

lay it on her. don't kiss her ass at all, but instead flatter her with truth and sincerity. if it goes well, thats great. if it doesn't, take it with as much grace as the gnawing pit in your stomach will allow, and accept her response. proclaim that you respect her feelings and that it's too bad it couldnt have been otherwise as you envisioned great things. leave it at that. don't explain any further.

respect+understanding+honesty+sincerity+a little mysterious teaser is absolutely golden.

it may not be apparent at first, but it will stir around in her mind like a snowball. and even if nothing ever happens it will have instilled a what-if scenario in her mind, which is the next best thing to her throwing herself at you.

beyond that, i suggest you read some sales psychology and marketing books. seriously. the principles of human psychology are the same. and never forget that girls talk like crazy. those moments of truth and sincerity will be the evening news.
