To everyone else... thanks for defending me on this comment. I agree with all of you that there are very intelligent people on this forums, minus one of course, and that some people have obviously been through this before and hearing their advice is more than welcome. My friends are very good to me and I did get their advice, which was the same as people had mentioned on here, but having even more opinions is better.

I think you did a good job. Personally drop her like a hot potato. If he expreses interest in you ever then she's going to have to express A LOT before you should even think of changing your attitude. You asked her out, she can date others you weren't an item but she elected to let you know that she's dating a person. That indicates she wanted out of any further romantic dealings. Fine you don't need her as a buddy and that's not what you want her for. Keep her at a very far distance. If she regrets doing what she did then she can show it to you extensively before you'll bite.

www.askmen.com doc love columns will give you some great dateing advise not 100% perfect but damn good stuff.
