GT3 worth buying a PS2???

Maybe he got a new version of the PS2? They constantly upgrade them and ship the new ones out.

Nope that setting is on all PS2's. I got mine back in January and it has it.
Start the PS2 without a cd and then go to setting I think. It's been awhile since i messed with the smooth setting.
From what the manual says it is only supose to make a difference on PSX games.
But if you say it made GT3 better I will take your word for it.

That was my understanding of that setting, too. I may have to change it to see if I can see any difference.
