My cost is going to be 1299 for each eye. Since i am going to take that money from my health spending account, my total out of pocket cash should only be about 70% of that..

My doctor said they have an older technology that will work with people with smaller pupils, and it is 699 per eye. like my mom said, this is one thing you don't want to be looking around for a buy one get one free coupon..

wow thats fairly expensive. i had mine done in 2000, it cost about AUS$1500 an eye, and i had no problems whatsoever, been great since. my brother had his done about 2 years prior to me at about aus$1200 an eye. his is still fine
my younger brother is having them done in jan and his is costing aus $2400 an eye.
i thought it a little odd that the cost has slowly increased, but i guess maybe technology has improved and the new equipment costs more. but still??
an optom friend said that often what happened was that the lasik surgeons advertised lower prices initially to get people in the door and then slowly increased them as it bacame more accepted
anyhow, good luck with ur vision

it's really boring ... waiting for that long time ```

NOW he's fine ```

i'm in the same boat as you, but hey at least it gives them more time to refine things even more

Here you go dude... don't watch it if you are easy to gross out.

(FYI if you had done a google search on 'lasik video' you would have found it in two minutes
