I had the procedure done almost 4 years ago. About 1 year later my eyesight was 20/20 in the left and 20/15 in the right. However, over time your vision will get worse again, but not as bad as if you were wearing glasses and need to adjust every year with higher prescription. I was told that we should do LASIK after 25 years of age.

There was a minor "incident" when they did my left eye, but the doctor was calm enough to fix the problem. No harm, no foul. However, the tape that I still have showed that it could've been very bad for me indeed. I had valium and was loving every minute of it

I need contacts to see distant objects and reading glasses to read or I wear bi-focal glasses for both. Does this LASIK correct both problems or just one?
I always thought I was not a candidate because of this problem.

i had laser surgery performed on my eyes back in 2000. i went from a 6.25 in my left eye and a 4.5 in the right to 20/20 in the left and 20/15 in the right. i also had mild astigmatism, and it seems like it reduced that as well.

this was one the best things i've ever done, and i always recommend it to all my friends and family. my mother had it done, and thought it cant fix far-sightedness (reading glasses), it fixed her near sightedness brilliantly.
