Which handgun would you buy?

Glock 27

Glock 23

Glock 22

The Glock line of products are not what I would call good looking guns, they just happen to work well, and are willing to take a good deal of abuse and neglect, and still work. The 27 is newer, and it is small.

Seems to be a lot of Glock fans in here.

What does eveyone think about Sig Sauer? Not being a gun person myself (yet), I thought that these were pretty popular.

Now what would you guys suggest if your significant other wanted a dependable gun? I already have a nice little revolver that I keep in the house "just in case", but would like something a bit smaller and that isn't a revolver.

Have fired a .45 Sig (don't know the model) and it was a bit much. Got to fire a really nice little Glock once, but can't recall which one...?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

We have "his and hers" P7s. The gas oprated recoil system makes it pretty comfy to shoot. At the time it was the smallest 9mm available.

The other little gun she is comfortable with is my old Beretta 70S.

personally i like walthers, HK and Sig Sauer. all in that order too.

maintenance wise, Walthers are dead simple to clean, HK a little harder, while my Sig Sauer is the hardest.

shooting wise the Walther and the HK are tied while the Sig Sauer has too much slack in the trigger.

if i were you id go with the HK. sweet gun.

i have Walther P88, PPK, P5, HK USP 9mm, Sig Sauer P228, and a Colt Python with a 6 inch barrel.

i want to get HK USP 45 cal. and a Benelli shotgun. those things are friggin sweet.

jmc1971 - my pleasure. We have the original model - the P7 PSP. I'm not sure if they are still available but they are better for smaller hands IMO than the M7 or M13.

She also liked the Sig 226 (or maybe 227...) one or the other...
