When I went into the 7th grade, this nerdy boy moved in down the street. We were in the same homeroom at Jr. High for 7th, 8th and 9th grade. In 9th grade he became interested in me after watching me wash my dad's truck in my blue bikini, but he was totally uninteresting to me. By 11th grade he grew up I became interested in him because he was into dirt bikes (motorcycles) and we started hanging out together, going out to dinner and to desert off-road motorcycle races on weekends. We lost our virginity together and graduated high school together. We broke up for a year when I graduated college and moved away but I came back after dating too many frogs. We got married in 1984, had kids in 1987 and 1988, and will have our 20 year anniversary this year. Of my 46 years, only 11 of them have been without him.

I've enjoyed reading a lot of the stories on here. I especially love the ones that end with, been married for xx years since.

Well, I met my significant other almost a year ago through a mutual friend. I was a second year at UCR and she was just about to graduate HS. My friend decided to bring her best friend over to a little party/kickback I was throwing at my apartment. We met each other then and had a great time together. I invited both of them back next week, this time without other people to just hang out. From there on, the process of getting to know each other began. I was worried about where she was going to go to attend college but was relieved and happy to find out that she was going to move nearby me to attend school. We decided to take an easy class together at the local CC during summer while she stayed at her friends place nearby me. During that time we got to really spend a lot of time together, getting to know each other more and more. Sometime in July, we committed ourselves to each other and it's been pretty smooth sailing since. I get to spend a lot of time with her while we both work away at graduating. Again, sometimes things just happen for a reason and it comes when least expected.

It seems like I'm in stage 1 of a blooming relationship similar to the ones some of the older folks have written about.

hmmmm....well it goes likes this....I got my s2000 as an engagement present from my fiance at the time....I bought a grill for it from tims2k (along with various other things) and Tim and I have been dating ever since.

 

met my DREAM girl at my job. she was beautiful, energetic and most importantly very smart. my ex was the same, but dumb as a rock. but yeah the new gf is a perfect girl IMO. shes the type of girl that you think of immediately when you wake up every single morning.
