How do you make kick ass chilli?
I tried to make a batch today, but I failed miserably. Eating me chilli was equivalent to eating a saltine cracker. It was dull and empty.

First, as a base, start with a good kit. The Two Alarm or Three Alarm is great. Ensure you are using the correct kind of beans. Red kidney or pinto will work. Ensure the meat that you use, if any, is ground for chili. It has a courser texture. After that feel free to add what ever flavors you want.
