good move!!!!

I couldnt' imagine having any more than the dozen that I have. I never watch these. having $10k tied in DVD's seems odd.

Keeps the economy rolling though.
Not having a TV does sort of impact ones ability to watch movies.

im with jonboy. i don't have a single one.

hmm.... made me think. i have never really bought too many cd's either. maybe less than 15. i've also only bought one cassette tape. i love music, don't get me wrong. but i guess the radio is good enough for me. i just don't have an urge to get these things.

btw, i'm 28. am i the only one like this?
I'm only 25, so I guess there are at least two of us. I own CDs - maybe 15 or 20 - but that's about it. I've burned a good few (ie, I didn't buy them) but I don't think those count... I typically listen to the radio or the primal scream of the 2.3L tucked under the hood of my Accord. Or something.

That would leave too much time for those "forearm workouts".

While we have several TVs, we just use them for watching the occasional DVD. I haven't watched network TV for at least 4 years, and have satellite to watch worthwhile stuff: Sopranos, Battlestar Galactica, Wonder Showzen, etc.

Since all of these are between seasons or on hiatus, I haven't turned on the TV recently except to watch Team America and Kung Fu Hustle.

We have about 400 or so. It is my wife's habit, not mine as I watch few of them. I let her buy any and all DVDs she wants and she lets me buy any and all S2000 and kart stuff I want. Works for me!

Good thinking! Luckily my wife doesn't like DVD's and does little complaining about my cars...(i think she gave up trying).

400 is a lot of DVD's. How often do you actually watch any of them? I always find something on TV instead and never even touch my 12 DVD's.

I don't watch most of them, they are background noise. Hell, my wife is watching "Species" right now. My 'puter faces away from the TV so I surf the web or play CIVIII while she watches most movies and I leave an ear open for any violent shootouts or gratuitous nudity I need to turn around and see.
