Just curious on how many of you have had a car stolen within recent years? I live in Oklahoma and the theft rate seems to be sorta low here. Im posting this because a friend of mine with a 99 Civic SI JRSC just moved from Oklahoma City to Cali and within the first week his car was stolen...

My integra GSR was stolen from me one night in 2002. There seems to be alot of people who previously owned civic's and integra's who had thier stolen also

 

i had my 96 nissan maxima stolen out of the school parking lot. never got it back. total loss

 

my 99 gsr got stolen last september

 

not me, but my friend went to Montreal for New Years Eve and had his Escalade stolen. That sucks alot, foreign country, mostly French speakers (he doesn't) dealing with the insurance, and the worst was the ride home, they went with 4 cars had 4 people in his, and came back squished together in 3 cars...

But alls well that ends well, now he has a 745 with the insurance money and a little extra.

 

I had my 6 month old VW Corrado stolen and it was never recovered.

 

Brother's GS-R stolen last summer...Seems to be the car of choice for thieves.

 

My 99 Civic Si was stolen in Decemeber. Around 2 weeks before Christmas. Man, that was sad stories for me. Car came back on New Years Eve in pieces. When I looked at the appraisers papers I had to laugh. They estimated it would cost 19Gs to fix my car. Not like there was anything to fix. The theives left me with the floor of the car, part of my passanger quarter pannel, and not even 1/4 of my roof. Full loss.
