Oh my God, I feel your pain.

I work in an enviroment where there are practically incentives for ratting on coworkers. Paranoia runs amok. Rules and fines for everything you can think of. If it hasn't been thought of, there will be a rule as soon as someone tries it.

I have no suggestions, but you have my sympathy.

 

I would like to know, out of all the people who have problems like mine at work, who works for an IT firm or technology based companies. I work for a blue chip bank and have been for 5+ years so my version of reality is a little fuzzy. I would think that if you work with younger people these types of things might not happen as often.
