I took an entire class on resume building and what to do in the beginning of the job market. I think you just covered more material in your post than that entire class! LOL thanks man

Jason, I am an old decrepit MF who has been around the block more than a few times. Please do NOT find a job if at all possible. Finding a job means working FOR someone other than yourself, ie. I work FOR (enter employers name) means they rake off a portion of your productivity. Rather, find an area in which you have some expertise and try to make a go of it. If things don't work out you can always find a job.

Best of luck.

I got all my offers/contacts through my school's [ut austin] career fairs.

It's usually difficult to have the capital or experience to work for yourself right out of school, but if you can do it go for it.

My best advice is to widen the industries you are looking at. Your focus is fairly broad and since you are not looking for a million dollars just yet you can find a solid job at just about any growing firm.
