BTW, the RSX will be about half way in performance between the current type R and and the prelude. That puts it, with a good driver, in the 0-60 in 6.3-6.5 range and a 1/4 mile in about 14.5-14.8. As for track, it would probably once again fall between the lude and the Type R in things such as braking and handling. The car is built to please the masses, oit is not a serious sports car, any car that comes with those michelins ISN'T either. The RSX type R

Are you guys getting these 6.5 times through G-tech?

RSX, 5th gen Prelude, Celica GT-S... all too close to call any faster than the other.

They are all about the same. If I was a bettin man, a good driver in the GT-S would probably be faster on a road course cause of its weight. In a straight line, it would be won at the launch. Really close.

I've seen 0-60 times through Gtech as low as 6.2 in the Prelude. At the track, I've seen people post times of around 6.5 more often. I have never seen 1/4 times above 15.5 on a 5 Speed Lude except in the magazines. And I have never seen below 14.8 on a Stock Lude. They magazine numbers are really off for the Prelude. One guy went as far to make a website that's title was 15 flat in a stock SH or something like that. If you are hittin 15 flat you are definitely in the 6's for 0-60.

BTW, if you want more info on the Lude, check out http://www.preludeonline.com. Look in the kills section and you'll find many videos of Preludes.

I don't think he's a troll. He's just really (and I mean really) excited about the car. I saw his original review yesterday on clubRSX

Aiphans is not "really" a troll, he does have a tendancy to post things that are exaggerated a bit. I've also seen cases where he states an opinion like it is fact, thus clouding the issue for less informed readers.

He is the RSX version of S2000Chris, he generally does not return to a post he created to acknowledge his "mis-statements"

BTW, to set the rocord straight, Acura is using the following certified numbers:

0-60 = 6.7
1/4 mile = 15.1 @ 95
Top speed = 145 (drag limited)
60-0 (dry) = 133 ft.

I drove the car pretty hard in a test track they had set up in San Francisco and I have my review of the day on my webpage.

That to me means troll, he also doesn't own an s2k but is comparing the RSX to it like he does.

He is trying to start something.
