Ricahrd,
Just saw this- sorry to hear about the cutback. Obvoiusly, those of us on the board are confident that you'll be employed soon! How many folks can speak English, Mandarin, Japanese, and NT? Call if you want to chat. We're all thinking about you.

Richard, this isn't much but it's all I know. As you have worked for NASA Propulsion you should be familiar with government civil service. Go , to www.usajobs.opm.gov, follow the instructions and view all the civil services jobs from all branches of government. They have an online resume' and tell you how to apply for them. With your technical experience you would rate around a GS-11 to 12. This equates to about 45 - 55K a year. Benefits, annual leave, retirement etc. Please, do yourself a favor and just take a look. You can catagorize the job search. If you need any assistance my wife is an experienced government personnel specialist and also a financial anaylsist. We can explain and help you with the process. Give me a PM and I'll give you my home number if we can help. There are so many jobs open you just can't imagine. they are all listed acrossed the country. Give it a look and tell me what you think. I hope it helps Rich.www.usajobs.opm.gov
