It is a 93.5. Starting doing work on it already, replaceing a bunch of parts just to be safe for when i am going to be single turbo this summer.
Seems as if its a toss up between 355 spyder and NSX-T between everyone. I have driven both and both are sick, but the NSX lacks the power which the 355 has. The 355 lacks the reliability that the NSX has though. In terms of sound, 355 wins by a long shot. Looks wise its personal choice. My vote goes for 355 spyder, unfortunately they are still big bucks for a used one which also means no warranty and expensive as shit repairs. Maybe one day...

I always loved the S, but in my heart for a long time I always wanted another car which was out of my price range. My opportunity came about and I sold my 03 Spa Yellow S for a TT Supra targa 6 speed red with tan interior. So far so good! I never thought I would own this car and now i do. Now the next car i would sell the Supra for would be a Ferrari 355 yellow Spyder, lol. I can dream can't I? The Supra isn't as otssable in the corners as the S, but it handles extremely well for a bigger car. Straight line performance is insane to say the least. Now if they bring out the S with a inline 6 with a turbo slapped on it with a 50/50 weight distribution, i'm all over it. What car would you guys sell your beloved S for in a moments notice?
I notice you mention about going single turbo, have you decided what type of turbo your going to get?

Is it a hardtop? Very nice if it is. I miss my 97, but a 93.5 hardtop weighs about 150lbs less I think. I'm thinking about buying another supra, but with a new one on the way for sure I might wait.

I did the exact of opposite of you. Sold the Supra and picked up an S2K.
Since your car is older you should check the valve stem seals. Mine was a 97 and it had the typical startup smoke. Be careful in the rain as the rear is very loose in the wet. Make sure your engine's in good health before you single turbo it. It'll save you a lot of headache later on.
