Garmin Nuvi. It works great and minehas already paid for itself many times over. I have the Nuvi 350.

I had a TomTom and while the nav maps were good, the volume was inadequate at highway speeds in a Suby Forester.
My father used two different TomToms in his WRX wagon and he never complained about volume being too low, even though his hearing isn't as good as it used to be. He doesn't even have it set on max volume, either.
