Need Sample Images from 2 megapixel digital cameras!

Man, this digital camera stuff can get complicated! I started out looking for a good, solid 2 megapixel, maybe $200, nothing fancy, but when I started looking more, I realized that I didn't want a small, fixed-focus lens. As I look through more and more reviews, I also realized that a camera that takes standard 'AA' batteries would be good. Then, I start remembering my old Minolta X-700 (camera of the Year the year it came out), and thought "it might be nice to have my choice of Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, and a full manual mode for when I want to get 'creative'...." So after hours of searching, reading reviews, looking at new, used, and refurbished on Amazon and EBay, I finally ordered an Olympus C-3000 3.2MP Digital Camera w/ 3x Optical Zoom. Retails for $699 , got one refurbished from the factory for $369 - . I decided that, with a baby on the way in November, I might as well get what I really want (plus, with this one I can do video WITH sound!) and finally own a 'real' camera again!
(I was sorely tempted by the C-700 and C-720, but this one seems a shade more advanced, and had a refurbished one in the right price range).
Thanks for all the help guys! I'll post a few pics once I get it - next week I hope!
Well, as promised, here are a few shots. They're not usingthe highest quality mode, since I'm still learning about the camera (good thing I've got that engineering degree - with a 233 page manual, I've got lots of studying to do....)..
I've cropped it a little, so it's not full size, but I like the results.... (Click the image to see it full size).
