No. Although, the clerk at my hotel was a guy/girl.

Like I said, I stayed with my girl-friend and her family the whole trip.

you can get PAID for teaching English in Japan, of course cost of living is WAY more than here...this is based off of conversations with my college japanese 'professor' 5-6 years ago

I have a female friend who went to Korea to teach English...she could not find a job here so she spent a year there sudying and get picked on by the US Military guys who are based in Korea?
