Since GT3 is being released next week, I need a kickass steering wheel set up for it. What is the best one out there? (And no, I can't afford one of those multi-thousand dollar full F1 cockpit simulator things)

Isn't a aftermarket steering wheel being released at the same time as GT3

Per blau-blau:

"both logitech GT force (designed for GT3) n wingman formular GP work really well n real, i assume they r the same except for the color of the grip n buttons on the steering wheel".

I have the V3, but I don't like it. It's too twitchy, and I keep hitting the walls. I tried playing with the steering sensitivity and response, but I couldn't get used to it. I ended up just using the analog controls on the regular joystick. All this was while playing TXRZ. Maybe it's different on GT3.

Thrustmaster force feedback is really good. Good response on the wheel good pedals (accelerator and brake) Wouldn't go back to joypad. Haven't tried it on the PS2 Got nothing that supports it.

There's supposed to be a Logitech wheel released that is designed specifically for GT3. I haven't found any information on its release in the US, but I've heard it works really well with GT3.

I have also been reading that the logitech wheel and GT3 will be/can be bundled.
The logitech wheel for GT3 retails for $99.

I just purchased the logitech gt steering wheel over lunch. It's in the trunk of my car. I'll be playing all night and I'll post a review tomorrow.

I got the wheel at software etc. and they gave me some free speakers. They said it was a promo. It's a sub and 2 speakers that retail for $50, so I don't really have high expectations, but they were free..
