Just some more info for ya. Yesterday's hockey game was the most watched Sports program in Canadian history. Also it had more viewers across the world then the Superbowl has ever had.

What a sport, what a game.
It was the most viewed program in Canadian television history, period.. not just sports. But still, it was viewed by more Americans than Canadians

Where do you see international viewing numbers? I'd like to see how many tuned in across the globe..

Few outside the US care about the Superbowl.. still got ~120 million viewers in 2010.

21.5 million viewers in Canada alone. That's almost 70% of Canada's population.

CTV says different. I guess a Canadian source would be more accurate to come up with numbers, especially when dealing with there own Country.

Superbowl 106.5 million viewers. Not quite 59% less.

The game drew an average viewership of 27.6 million, making it the most-watched hockey broadcast since the U.S. team beat Finland to win gold at 1980 Olympics. That game drew 32.8 million fans and came on the heels of the historic U.S. win against the U.S.S.R. in the "Miracle on Ice" game.

The number of fans watching the gold-medal game eclipsed a number of other major sports events this season, including the 2010 Rose Bowl (24.0 million), the 2009 World Series (22.8 million for Game 4, the most-watched game), the 2009 NCAA men's basketball championship game (17.6 million), the 2009 NBA Finals (16.0 million for Game 4, the most-watched game) and the 2010 Daytona 500 (16.0 million).

69 Million Total Viewers Watched the Olympics in Primetime on NBC and MSNBC

That is just on those two networks, add in all of the others like the 21.5 and many more, that equals more then the Superbowl. That's where the #'s are coming from. Hey, I'm just reading it online.

Your numbers are only from NBC, for the older games like the USA and FINS etc.

Who is CTV? More likely to inflate the numbers...but anyways.
