CTV. It's like our NBC. My sources are just googling it. It's everywhere.

A third of the the American population watched the Olympics yesterday. That's on NBC alone. Add all of the other networks, and it's huge.

All in all it was a monster game across the world. From Kandahar to Canada. Nothing like showing support for your Country.

I figured it out. The 16.6 million is average viewers. Your 21.5 number is likely the "watched at some point" number.

Average viewership is what is generally used, but I agree, either way it was a lot of people watching.

Who is CTV? More likely to inflate the numbers...but anyways.
ctv was the major broadcaster of the olympics in canada. The numbers are not inflated, but rather viewed differently. AT times the viewers where huge, but averaged 16.6. This is Canada only.

Just some more info for ya. Yesterday's hockey game was the most watched Sports program in Canadian history. Also it had more viewers across the world then the Superbowl has ever had.

What a sport, what a game.
You're comparing internationally viewed sports vs a national level. Not a very good comparison.
