Opening a topless bar?
Yellow stay in school, because I have the feeling if you left now, you would fail at life ...100k wouldn't even cover rent+insurance. never mind licenses and booze
and on top of what PsycoBen listed
ADVERTISING is gonna cost you a fortune...or are you going to stand on the corner in a sandwich board

To the OP: a liquor license in Chicago will run you about $10,000 with the right connections. I have at least 5 friends or relatives that have opened up their own places in the last couple of years (not topless, just bar types) and it's not too complicated. But hey, what do I know, I'm only 20... Guess you old farts know everything there is to know about the world.

We know that 100 grand is not a lot of money, much as it may seem to a 20 year old -- and we know that you don't impress people by claiming to have secret "friends."
"much as it may seem to a 20 year old"... $100,000 seems like a $100,000 to me. Nothing more, nothing less. But for what the OP is asking, YES it is POSSIBLE.

Once you get done with the permits all you have to do is find a nice place with a good location and get to work.
My suggestion is to do a little bit of legwork on your own. Call a realtor and start investigating how much it rent would cost for a 2000 sq. ft. space. You'd probably need at least that much space. Then look into how much the liquor license costs in your area. Google it, I'll bet you can find something. Then start doing some other start-up cost calculations. . . basically, don't listen to the advice given here (for or against) and let us know what you find. (my vote goes to your needing a lot more than $100,000)
