pimples acne i look like crap
if your a college student you should really check out your schools health department. at most college campuses they have dermatologists and all that good stuff and even sell prescriptions for a pretty good price.
but try that out before trying out the dermatologists at hospitals and such.

i mean the repair lotion. i know it's a t.v. product but it actually did work. if i were you--try the products and see which one works--then just order the refills--
lemme how it works for you
acutane does work too but has sooo many side effects and you have to monitor your blood

I agree with using Proactive. It completely solved the acne problems of my two teenage sons a few years back and my wife uses it occasionaly to help with flare ups she has.
Very effective product that does what it promises.

Acutane makes you dehydrated 24/7. The key to having a clear face is:
- Wash your face with proper face cleansing products throughout the day
- Minimal exposure to the sun
- Sleep early
- Eat your vegetables
- And using Proactiv

Another vounch for Proactiv here too. The stuff really does work wonders. I use the renewing cleanser, the revitalizing toner, the oil free moisturizer, and the renewing mask at night. If you take long hot showers, make sure your skin does not get really dried out as this will cause your body to produce oil to help with the dryness but also leads to breakouts.
If that doesnt help, go to a dermatoligist. They will probably prescribe you Minocin (minocycline) which I can also vouch for from personal experience. I used to take it before I started using Proactiv and it made a huge difference. Topical Cleocin is another option but it also requires a prescription.

How long did it take for your Minocin to kick in? I'm on my 5th week right now, but haven't noticed any big differences, and been still breaking out.. I might have to use Accutane after this dosage, but really don't wanna deal with the dryness and initial breakout factor during school..
