Wait... are you kidding? Those little curb damages are causing the vibration?

Shouldn't those things be easily fixed with wheel weights? I recommend a 2nd opinion from a shop you trust. Isn't there a guy named Arnel on S2ki who owns a tire store in So Cal? Maybe he could help.

In this image, that chip is in no way remotely big enough to cause an issue with balancing the tire

I am no tire/wheel expert, but I would definately go to another shop. From the pics you have shown, and the vibration you have described, that doesnt add up.

Looks more like a tire issue than a wheel issue to me - a couple small chips on the wheels would be easily balanced out.

You really need to take it to another shop and see what they say. Doesn't matter that he's the manager. I've gotten my rears and fronts mounted backwards before and put in wrong.

Those scratches on the back of the wheel were definitley from shipping.. But since it's whitish, it looks like it didn't even go through the primer.

To me, that tire picture is taken at an angle that might make it look a bit worse. If you notice the right side of the tire is closer/higher. The left side is farther/lower. Can you please take a picture straight on?

If there is something wrong with these wheels, it has got to be the tire wear from a bad alignment.

I don't think the wheels are bent at all.

Why don't you swap the tires from the AP2 wheels to the Volks? I'm almost positive that the virbration will go away.
