You guys would all be surprised at how tires can get shot, vibrate and make tons of noise even though they have good tread left.

i replaced a set of tires on my TL that still had 30% tread left when i blew one out really bad, the new tires were amazing. i had the old ones on the car so long you just get used to the noise and vibrations... just a thought...

What this guy said.

Yeah, I'm positive I had absolutely not vibration. Weird..

But just fyi.. shipping greyhound will cost around the same if not more than fedex unless you can get that student discount. Even then, you have to purchase the student discount card to get the discount which is like $20 bucks.

If I remember correctly fedex was around $180.00. Greyhound was $190 or so BEFORE the student discounts.

Could be different if you're running different alignment / suspension setup.

Do you know why the tire guy couldn't balance them? Even if it does have different tire wear. He still should have been able to balance them with no problem...
