60% chance we don't hear from the buyer again.
40% chance the buyer comes back and cops an attitude again

I shipped a set of AP2 V1's the way you guys did in 2006 to a buyer. They were MINT when they left, the rim faces were scratched to hell (not as damaged as yours) when the buyer recieved them. I refunded him $90/wheel after a little back and forth.

The best way to ship wheels is IN A BOX. I shipped a BRAND NEW set of AP2 V3's when I bought my '08 to NJ. I shipped them in individual Boxes, completely deflated and it ended up costing me $86 via FEDEX ground.

Sorry you both had a bad go at this, but the Seller got short end of it. The wheels are no where near mint, and no where near worth the price you paid and you'll have to spend $90-$100 per wheel to get them looking decent.

Thanks everybody for the replies. I'm hoping the buyer will try to make things right. I told him I would post pictures. As for shipping damage I hope he will be able to get some money from fedex...

When I shipped the my wheels out to him I bought pillow stuffing to place inbetween the cardboard and face. He reused that stuffing so the faces should have been pretty protected from scratches and what not...

Did you purchase the your car brand new? Are you positive the previous owner didn't do a repair?I'm almost positive that these have been repaired. You can clearly see the different color metals. How can you argue with that?

As for shipping damage. There were no marks on the pieces of cardboard. A few of the damage areas had to have been hit VERY hard. If was damage from shipping, the cardboard covering the faces would have surely shown them. Also, if you look at one of the damaged areas there is surface rust. It's hard to believe that these wheels were rained on while being shipped. There is more damage then just the ones I posted. I'll try to take some more pics now.

As for calling the shipping company. You go ahead and call. When you had a problem with my wheels I had a ton of concern for you. I texted you everyday for an update. I even told you if the shipping company wouldn't cover, I would help you pay for the repair out of my pocket.

It would be nice if you would step up and do something to make this right.
