Really weird sleeping problem...
this happens to me very often. im 27 years old now and have had it consistantly since i was a little kid. im also pretty used to it but my lady gets scared when i shake in bed as i fight it off.
Well I'm glad as hell that it doesn't happen to me. The closest I've came to this is when my arms both fall asleep. Sometimes I'll go to sleep with both arms "over" my head and under the pillow or at least I wake up that way.
It might not sound like a big deal but it's pretty damn scary to me at least. First of all, I can't sit up, and when I do manage to do it and swing my arms in to 'normal' position so they can get some blood in to them, I am scared that I'll break my arm or something insane and never feel it.
While they are both numb for that 30 seconds or so, it's hard to balance and I'm scared shitless that I'll lose my balance and land on my arm funny [they are just dangling] and break them in half.
Lately I just make sure my arms are by my sides when I go to sleep and it hasn't happened in a while. Similar to your situation, it scares the shit out of the girl next to you when you wake up freaking out with limp arms, haha.
