Road rage - dude kicked my car (long)
JB32,
WOW. You have much more restraint than I. Someone kicks my S is like kicking a member of the family. I must say I am proud of the way you handled it. I assume from your other post that the damage was way too much for Dent Wizard. I hope Honda Carland gets everything put right. Good luck.

What strike said. This guy is in such a big hurry to get where he's going that he freaks out only to get out of his car to kick yours??? He made nice to save his own ass not because he regretted his assault. The whole idea of "pressing charges" is rediculous. I'm pretty sure road rage is classified as felony assault and the state should be responsible for prosecuting him for it. That's what you pay them for. He's going to do it again.
I have an update...
For the record, I am still not sure that I did the right thing in letting the guy go. It seemed like the right thing at the time. As for him doing it again, you all are probably right...once an idiot allways an idiot. However, he will have something to make him think twice next time. I am going to get my S fixed the right way...that is new door panel and paint job. The estimate is around $2500, and State Farm will be looking him up for the cash. He can consider it payment for an anger management class.

There is a reason that the 2nd Ammendment protects the individual's right to keep and bear arms, and most states allow its citizens to carry concealed weapons. There are some real dangerous people out there!
It's so easy to zip in and out of traffic in the S2000, and I'm going to make a concious effort to try not to piss people off with the way I drive. Good lesson to learn here.
Good to hear things seem to be working out well!
